What a lovely way to spend a sunny afternoon. We stopped at the Greenbank Hotel for a few bar snacks and ended up with what I can only describe as a sort of non-Spanish tapas — several little dishes to share, all beautifully presented and genuinely delicious. The setting is hard to beat, especially on a beautiful day like this, with fabulous views straight across the water. The staff were absolutely charming, the atmosphere relaxed, and it was one of those places where there was simply no need to rush. Special mention for the dirty potatoes — ridiculously good and definitely worth ordering! A gorgeous spot for a leisurely drink and a few plates overlooking Falmouth Harbour. Highly recommended.

Our visit to the Greenbank in Falmouth was excellent. Our room was spacious and the view from the tiny balcony superb. And two members of staff were exceptionally kind. When we were already at the hotel I realised I had only booked for three nights instead of four. The extra night was quickly booked without fuss and we felt the benefit of the extra night. On our last night I became unwell shortly after ordering our supper in the Working Boat. The staff member was very kind and immediately cancelled the meal and refunded this to us without any fuss. I was very grateful for his kindness and understanding as I did feel very poorly. The team always go out of their way to make our visits special. That's why we keep returning, oh, and for the spectacular views too.

The restaurant has a fabulous view, sunny or rainy day. Sunday lunch never disappoints. It’s all delicious. Staff are attentive and pleasant. A popular venue
