Gyllyngvase House

GH is such an easy stay! Clean and with everything you could need. Bathroom was well appointed and sizable. Bed and linen were comfortable and fresh. Breakfast was excellent. It is quiet and nice to have a drink in the garden in the afternoon. Close to the Beach, easy to get to Falmouth Town and doable for UE Penryn campus. Above all, Andrew was so welcoming and runs a tight ship. Will absolutely stay again!

Centrally yet very quietly located B&B practically right on the beautiful Gyllingsvase Beach with its great beach restaurant Gylling Café Bar and only a 15-minute walk to the harbor on the other side and the lively downtown area. Friendly staff, high-quality breakfast, and with room 7 also a top room with a sea view. In addition, there is a parking area on the property in front of the entrance and an extremely appealing garden house with a fully equipped bar. Definitely a clear recommendation! The hike along the coast via Swanpool should not be missed.

We have stayed at Gyllyngvase House three times now, and each visit has been just as lovely as the last. We’ve stayed in three different rooms, and every one has been absolutely immaculate, with incredibly comfortable beds and everything you could possibly need for a relaxing stay — toiletries, tea, coffee, milk, bottled water, a hairdryer and more. Some rooms also have air conditioning and a fridge, which is a great bonus. The owners, Elle and Andrew, are absolutely lovely and couldn’t be more welcoming or helpful. Their warmth and hospitality is also reflected in their wonderful staff. The location is perfect. Turn right out of the B&B and you’re just a two-minute walk from Gyllyngvase Beach, complete with a lovely beach bar. Turn left and you can walk into Falmouth town and the harbour in around 10 minutes. We honestly couldn’t recommend Gyllyngvase House highly enough and can’t wait to return for our next stay.
