Lanarth Hotel and Caravan Park

Second time here absolutely love it Steve great host he works so hard around checking in to see if your OK lovely hot showers very clean we hard the most wonderful weather so we had few days relaxing in the pool wow was fab also a bar opens 8 in the evening we sat outside the manor house bye pool with cold beer 🍺 campsite truly a relaxing plaice to the grounds are fantastic love the peacocks to will be back soon as we can credit to Steve and his wife

We stayed for 8 nights in June 2025 had a great time the site is lovely very relaxing clean toilets and showers, the site even has an outdoor swimming pool and a Bar open most evenings during peak season with jukebox, 2 pool tables and air hockey, its a bit like stepping back to the 1970s/1980's with the decor etc in the bar but that's it charm!, our young daughters loved the peacocks and pea hens roaming around the site as well as the wild rabbits. Set back off St Kew's highway far enough so you don't hear traffic noise and approx 10mins from Wadebridge centre where there is a Lidl, Tesco and Aldi for all your needs, just down the road is also a farm shop and closer to Wadebridge a road side cafe called Big Baps (I kid you not!!!. We also hired bikes and cycled down the camel trail 5.5 miles from Wadebridge to Padstow which we all did and our girls loved it, following the estuary with stunning views and its relatively flat we had a 4 year old and 8 year old and it was perfect for them. Only 25-30 mins away from the closest beaches around the Padstow area IE Harlyn Bay, Trevone Bay, and Treyanon Bay etc and around the same time to Padstow itself, or in the other direction Daymer Bay or Polzeath beach approx 20 mins away, Port Issac is 15 mins away and worth a visit where the ITV series Doc Martin is filmed. Will 100% be returning Stephen and Sarah are very hospitable.

absolutely love this beautiful place steve and family and so caring and nothing is to much trouble toilets and showers are cleaned every day the grounds are so beautifully kept and the wildlife is amazing including the many peacocks 🦚 would definitely recommend cheap pitches fantastic family pub and outdoor swimming pool
