Wonderful Evening at Pedn Olva. Great atmosphere. Great food and excellent service by Rob P. A fellow Welshman.

Very late with my review. We dined there when we were staying at The Tregenna in July. We had booked in advance as we know it's sometimes difficult to get a table in St Ives in the evenings. It was a very hot night and we were lucky to get a table in the window with that fabulous view. The food was good, but unfortunately they had a problem with lots of flies that night which spoilt the experience for us. Staff were nice and accommodating and otherwise we had no complaints.

Fantastic location with great views acrossboth the harbour and towards Godrevy lighthouse. Lovely interiors, pleasant atmosphere. Staff seem to have received better training since our last terrible experience so a much better time was had. Food is overpriced for the quality. I had a very tough chicken supreme with tenderstem so tough and undercooked it was difficult to chew through. All in all, no longer terrible but still a bit of training needed for kitchen staff.
