Quaysiders Club

This resort is well located, next to Lake Windermere. A good location for exploring the Lakes District. Local shops and restaurants are about 20 minutes walk. The rooms are pleasant, although not large - was fine for me as a solo traveller but could be crowded for a family of 5-6. The washing machine is in a shared facility, and signage on the laundry room does not give reliable information about when it is open/locked. My only real complaint about this resort is the incredibly steep electricity charge I had to pay on checkout - 37gbp ($71 AUD) for one person for the week, (in Spring when the weather was wet but mild so I didn't use heating every night, and I was out all day every day from 9am-6pm.)

Just returned from a wonderful 3 night stay. We made a mistake when we booked and inadvertently booked the hotel room as opposed to one of the apartments. I enquired at reception and they very kindly moved us to one of the apartments (number 17). with very little fuss. It had everything we could wish for and would recommend to anyone, its near the waterhead at Ambleside and about a 15 minute walk to the town centre. Its in a beautiful location opposite the lake and very quiet.

We had the most amazing quality stay at this small Timeshare complex our apartment 2 bedrooms 2 bathrooms was immaculate condition loved the new block paved courtyard also enjoyed the very well maintained pool and jacuzzi lovely and warm complementary towels excellent laundry with washer/dryers plus free powder and comfort everything you need on hand at no cost Special mention to the most outstanding professional kind attentive staff Leigh Debbie and Carol thanks for making our holiday so pleasurable looking forward to our next stay
