Marlborough House

Me and my mother stayed here in may 2017 (this date was not available anymore in the requiered field, apologies for that) while walking the Hadrian's Wall. We had a nice and cosy room, a good breakfast and a very friendly host that told us a lot about what to do and where to go in Carlisle.

Booked this last minute for a quick overnight away in Carlisle. Easy to get to with parking available and well located for a short walk into Carlisle centre. We received a very warm welcome from Roy and he was very helpful with suggestions for places to eat - with some great spots just round the corner. Breakfast was cooked to perfection. All in all a great value, traditional B&B - would recommend it to anyone.

Had a nice stay at Marlborough House, booked only a few hours before check in but was very impressed with the ease and friendliness of Roy the owner who was very accommodating. His local knowledge of places to go for dinner and drinks was a great help at short notice. Room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was the best Ive had for a very long time. Jenna
