Love staying at Willowbeck Lodge. It's calm and peaceful, the team can not do more for you, it's simply beautiful. Rooms are spacious and clean, food is great, honestly cannot complain. Its within a lovely little village too, short drive into Carlisle but feels set enough back for a perfect 'escape' from hustle and bustle.

We stayed in order to break our journey to the Scottish Highlands. We had visited before so knew it was good We were not disappointed. The standard and quality is still very high, as is the value for money. The cost is less than half many larger hotels who claim to be 4 star, but the standard of accommodation, service and food is better here. We stayed in the "Willow" room, which is spacious and well decorated and looks over the lake. We had a great nights sleep and the bathroom is great. All very clean We also booked an evening meal. Again this was very good. The Seabass and Cod both excellent and the service very friendly and attentive. This hotel has a great business model. We look forward to staying again on our return journey!
