Ravenstone Lodge

Spent 4 days here, our second visit. Quality and attention to detail are excellent. Quiet setting, rooms are very clean and comfortable, we dined here each evening and were delighted with the food, especially as we asked for a coeliac diet and a gluten and dairy free diet to be taken into account. Staff are attentive an very helpful.

We went to Ravenstone Lodge for my wife's birthday. A little gem that I stumbled upon by chance. A beautiful, cozy venue with gorgeous views. Service was excellent; just the right mix of chatty, but not intrusive. The food was very nice, and we were both full before we'd cleaned the plates. The cocktails were very nice, too. A little pricey, but not over the top. Happy to pay for quality. My only suggestion would be to please offer significantly larger steaks; the only option was 6oz - I love steak, and that simply isn't enough. But , Steakgate aside, we will return, and advise readers to do so, too.

We have just returned from a stay at Ravenstone Lodge Hotel. The hotel is set on the banks of the lake. It has been recently refurbished and is looking good. We stayed in a lovely ground floor room overlooking the lake and gardens. Brett our host was very knowledgeable and friendly. I have recently had a stroke and he was very kind. We enjoyed a beautiful meal in the restaurant and my husband said the steak pie was the best he had tasted. Thanks for a lovely stay.
