Greenbank Guest House

I have absolutely no negative comment. We booked a weekend here through booking.com and on arrival we were informed that the website made a mistake in pricing (actually double original quote) they also booked us for the weekend after we intended. The proprietor was under no obligation to house us and yet welcomed us with open arms, gave us an upgraded room which had absolutely everything we needed. The towelling dressing gown and slippers were a lovely touch. I can not speak more highly of the guesthouse and it's proprietor. I will strongly suggest booking directly and avoid booking.com as they were incredibly rude and deliberately unhelpful when I contacted customer services for advice. A wonderful stay overall and Thank you Greenbank guest house.

My wife and I booked into this B&B at very short notice on the Bank Holiday weekend. It was very friendly and welcoming, and very dog friendly. The proprietor went beyond the call of duty in assisting us during our short stay.

Stayed here for two nights while hiking in the lakes. Fantastic lovely people, they really couldn't do enough for us. Breakfasts were great. Rooms nicely decorated. Steve was decorating the stair well and will look spot on when finished. I was able to park my car in their secure rear parking. Was made to feel very welcome. They've a lovely young black lab called Bella too!
