Firgarth Guest House

My boyfriend and I stayed here for two nights in April. On arrival we were greeted by Colin who offered us tea or coffee, told us about the local attraction and showed us some walks we could go on before leading us to our room which so immaculate. Everything we could have asked for. The breakfast in the morning was amazing and so tasty and they cater for different dietary needs. Both Colin and Pam were so friendly and helpful. The Firgarth is a lovely, quiet, friendly place to stay. Just what we needed.

We have just spent a long weekend with friends at The Firgarth. Have nothing but praise for the owners Pam & Colin, they obviousely have their guests interests at heart. It was our friends birthday on the day we arrived, and they recommended a restaurant in Windermere and actually made the booking on our behalf (we can now recommend Francines in Windermere too). They were kind enough to book a Taxi for us too. The rooms were immaculate and spotlessly clean and so comfortable. Exceptional breakfast prepared by Colin and served very efficiently by Pam and her staff. Food products are sourced locally and were very enjoyable in particular the Sausage that we were told was obtained from Huddlestons butchers in the village. We loved our stay here and hope to return in the near future to visit the many places that were recommended by Pam & Colin. Well done to you all, we have only praise for you and your lovely Guesthouse.

My wife and I recently had a three night stay at this very well run and cosy bed and breakfast. We received a warm welcome upon arrival and served with a very welcome cup of tea . Our room was very good with a nice view. Breakfast was a real treat . We doubt that you would find a better guest house in this area. Many thanks to Pam and Colin for making our stay so enjoyable. Good luck to you both. Peter and Joy.
