Wild Boar (I)

What a lovely stay we had at the Wild Boar. We received a complimentary room upgrade as it was our wedding night (stayed at home on actual wedding night). The room was fabulous and I loved the bath!! We had an evening meal and breakfast and couldnt fault the food or service. Would definitely recommend.

Paid extra for an Owl Room. This wasn’t worth the money in my opinion. Lovely room but nothing more than a slightly bigger version of a standard room. It’s advertised as having a ‘unique feature’ but I’m yet to know what this was. We only paid extra for a feature bath in the room and didn’t actually have one. The hotel itself, location/food/service was lovely though

Absolutely wonderful time spent at this hotel. For the first meet and greet at reception to our leaving the Wild and Boar team we're helpful and professional throughout. Our room was both spacious and well appointed everything from an copper roll top bath to iron/board was catered for and included . The food was excellent and how many hotels have there own mini brewery within. I Cannot recommend this hotel more highly than to say we've found the jewel in the lake district crown.
