BEST WESTERN PREMIER YEW LODGE

I stayed at the Crowne Plaza on 17th August 2026, and I cannot thank the team enough for their incredible kindness and support! Parking in the car park was a bit tricky due to the incline, and when I pulled into my space, I struggled to reverse and nearly had a close call with the car in front. When I went into reception, the lovely team was immediately so welcoming and reassuring. The young guy working there then came right out to help me, reassuring me further as he guided me into reversing the car safely out of the space, and he reassured me even more the next morning. Beyond that, my room was great, and the service in the bar area was wonderful as well. I also ordered room service, and the young guy who brought my food up was so polite and kind. Even though he forgot the card machine, he came back up really quickly to take payment and was lovely about the whole thing. Overall, my stay was fantastic, and the staff truly go above and beyond. Thank you so much for turning a stressful parking moment into such a positive experience!"

This is our second visit. Great hotel, staff Friendly and helpful. Rooms comfortable, clean ( apart from heated towel rail full of dust at the bottom) with air-conditioning. The only negative is there is no fridge in the rooms to keep drinks cool unless you upgrade to a suite. We booked premium room and would expect this like other hotels. Pleasant lounge area to have drinks and chill out. Sadly didn't have time to use spa facilities this time. Car park busy, with small car parking spaces but managed to park no problem, don't forget to register your car at reception. There's a bus nearby that goes to the airport so worth considering if you don't mind a short walk up the road.

Always a pleasure to be welcomed by Maya on reception, always smiley, friendly and helpful. The room was a good size and tidy with more than adequate plugs, USBs and a well stocked tea caddy. It was just extremely dusty on ledges, inside wardrobe shelving and above the bed which let it down slightly. The restaurant is great with top service from Sarah again who recognised me from a previous visit a few months ago. The food was delicious as always!
