Booked for park and stay which the car park was large and found a space no problem. We were welcomed by Leanne on arrival in reception who was helpful, engaging and provided great customer service, check in was super quick and the offer of a sweet treat from the selection of mini cakes on reception was a lovely touch and very welcoming on arrival. Our room was on the 4th floor and was spacious, spotless and very comfortable. Bathroom had all toiletries needed (shower gel, shampoo and conditioner) thoughtful touch of a bath mat hung on the door if needed. Shower was excellent pressure and no issue with water temperature, it was also spotless. We had a great night's sleep due to the comfy bed and blackout curtains. We enjoyed a lovely meal in Marcos restaurant which was lovely food and good value for money including the bottle of wine too we enjoyed. Every member of staff we interacted with were fantastic and everyone provided outstanding customer service in the bar, restaurant, leisure area and reception. It made our stay one of the best ive had in awhile in a uk hotel. We also enjoyed the pool, sauna and steam . The changing rooms were very clean and it was lovely area to relax. I would like to say thank you to all the team you were absolutely fantastic and made our stay even more enjoyable and I would 100% stay again before flying,

I stayed at the Crowne Plaza on 17th August 2026, and I cannot thank the team enough for their incredible kindness and support! Parking in the car park was a bit tricky due to the incline, and when I pulled into my space, I struggled to reverse and nearly had a close call with the car in front. When I went into reception, the lovely team was immediately so welcoming and reassuring. The young guy working there then came right out to help me, reassuring me further as he guided me into reversing the car safely out of the space, and he reassured me even more the next morning. Beyond that, my room was great, and the service in the bar area was wonderful as well. I also ordered room service, and the young guy who brought my food up was so polite and kind. Even though he forgot the card machine, he came back up really quickly to take payment and was lovely about the whole thing. Overall, my stay was fantastic, and the staff truly go above and beyond. Thank you so much for turning a stressful parking moment into such a positive experience!"
