Gidleigh Park Hotel

Location: Very cosy and calm restaurant, with the charm of an old house in the country side The food was amazing and the personal was very welcoming and attentive. The bar rooms are private and with an amazing view. The value of the lunch in 5 step is perfect. The cleanliness of restaurant and the toilets is perfect. And the staff is very attentive to keep it like it. The only point I will recommand is to upskill the staff to serve wine with the twist at the end to avoid to spill it.

Didn't stay, but went for a meal at their wonderful restaurant. Beautiful location in the heart of Dartmoor in a classic old-style top-notch country hotel. A very special place for a celebration meal or just to enjoy a great meal. Food was excellent, and service was just as good. All in all, highly recommended. I will return

If you haven’t experienced Gidleigh, add it to your wish list. The setting is idyllic in every season. We enjoyed dinner this week and drinks on the patio on a glorious summers evening but it’s equally magical in the winter. There are very few hotels worldwide offering the atmosphere and service provided by the team at Gidleigh. The only comparable I have experienced is Ballyfin in Ireland but Gidleigh is only an hour away and will always be my go to for a special occasion. A very special hotel with the most amazing team. Hospitality at its best.
