I stayed with in Harbour Hotels Salcombe branch for 4 days and had the most glorious stay! While some may deem the room prices high, it is completely worth it when you’re met with the most welcoming and attentive staff, along with the location being in the centre of Salcombe and the best view I have ever seen. I have travelled a lot for work, both globally and within the UK, and I must say I haven’t been somewhere as nice as this for a long time. I will be returning!

Great location in the centre Salcombe. Lovely room over looking the river. We ate in the restaurant and the food was very good. The restaurant staff were great. Genuine and efficient. In particular Jaydon and the barman Frazer. Well presented hotel.

Having previously stayed at the Christchurch and the Salcombe Beach Hotel we were really looking forward to our visit and we were not disappointed. We stayed in room 101 which offered a limited view of the Estuary which was well worth an additional charge. The reception staff were extremely welcoming and it was a nice touch where we were taken to our room and given a tour around. Which we haven’t received before. The room was spotless and well stocked. As always I enjoyed the complimentary gin. The bed was huge and very comfy. The restaurant has wonderful sea views and is light and airy. The dinner menu was extensive and each day there was a different fish menu consisting of at least six dishes. The double bass fillet was particularly tasty. The wine list was very extensive to suit all budgets. The breakfast was continental with an optional £10 charge for having a cooked meal. The Spa was very well equipped we particularly liked the fact that there were separate areas that were curtained off if you fancied a snooze. Throughout it all the staff were extremely friendly and kind. The car park is tight but there is a member of staff on hand to park your vehicle for you. We spent three nights and could have stayed longer. It is probably our most favourite Harbour Hotel to date
