A Quiet,beautiful guest house.So clean,rooms are absolutely beautiful. Everything you could want for both short stays and longer.Paul and Lynn and Emna do a great job of running such a fine guest house. Prices reasonable. Highly recommended.

I recently stayed at Carlton Court in Torquay for a much-needed break with my sister, and it was absolutely perfect. It is in a great location, about a 20-minute walk to the harbour, making it easy to explore the town. If you are arriving in a large car, just be aware that the on-site parking can feel a bit tight, but it is manageable. The highlights of our stay were definitely the owners, Lynn and Paul. They are incredibly friendly and welcoming, and they gave us some excellent advice about the local area. Our room was large, airy, and exceptionally clean, featuring a very comfortable bed. It was very well-equipped with tea and coffee facilities, a hairdryer, and fresh milk and iced water provided in the fridge, which was a lovely touch. While the bathroom was on the smaller side, it was fully functional and absolutely spotless. Breakfast was lovely each morning. They even offer bespoke options if you want to request something specific, which I did and thoroughly enjoyed. While the hotel does not serve evening meals, Lynn and Paul are happy to set a table for you in the breakfast room if you want to bring back a takeaway, which is a wonderful, thoughtful touch. There is also a fully stocked honesty bar available on site. We highly recommend staying here and would gladly return!

What a wonderful stay, as soon as I got there I was made to feel welcome. It was really easy to find and just pulling up outside it gave a feeling of positivity and a homey feeling. My room (well it was more like a flat) was very cosy and flowed really well. The shape of the accommodation was really quirky in a nice way was really clean and stocked with milk and water in the fridge. I had breakfast one day that was yum yum, I had the vegetarian option also there were different juices, fruit salad, yogurt, cereal and toast. What amazing value for money. You can hear the odd motorbike go along but nothing to write home about. I will definitely be going back.
