Duke of Normandie

We spent 3 nights at this fantastic hotel. From the receptionist who greeted us, the staff in the restaurant and bar to housekeeping, the service was amazing. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. Very polite, couldn’t do enough to help you. Very conveniently located, everything is within walking distance. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Booked into this lovely hotel for two nights but due to poor weather conditions our ferry to Poole was cancelled and we then had to find an extra night’s accommodation. A worrying couple of hours. The hotel has two wonderful and most helpful receptionists Zippy and Imelda. Nothing is too much trouble. They sorted the extra night’s accommodation when rooms became available. All the staff too are most helpful and cheerful. Breakfast brilliant and reasonable in price(cheaper if booked in advance) location is central. There is a small enclosed car park. Rooms are clean and of a reasonable size. We would definitely stay here again.

Good location, atmosphere, room, staff! Enjoyed our stay, would highly recommend and would stay here again.
