Ocean View Hotel

After a very stressful day and one disappointment hotel my wife and daughter went on Booking.com to find a nother hotel this one was available my daughter called the manager and asked if the was to 1 floor rooms available the manager said yes 2 kings size if we booked now with booking. Com. My daughter explained the my wife is disabled and needs a walk in shower he replied no problem. On arrival we found that the rooms that promise was not available and when we booked holiday we booked b and b the manager said no if was for room only and breakfast would be more and then charged £40 for the dog after we paid £ 2511.00 for 7 nights. My daughter went to check the rooms and they were on first and second with no sea view which we were promise me and my wife asked for a drink no drought beer just a bottle out of a bucket my wife's wine wes also warm the area wes not clean and had ripped seats .my daughter came back down from check in the rooms and said they were not suitable. I'm told the manager that he lied to us and said that i would like a refund he said that he will do this if booking. Com agreed to it i then asked for me £40 refund for the dogs witch he paid me back on a card minus the 2 drinks £14 undrinkable. On the way back home 30mins after we arrived arrived at the hotel my daughter called booking. Com to complain how we was lied to and can they please contact the hotel for a refund 2 day 24 calls later booking. Con said the manager refused to pay as back like he promised. I spoke to the resavison manager and he agreed we me and said that he would get to general manager to call us still waiting 5 days. In the end the manager agreed to paying us back minus one night that we stayed there. We never stayed there so yet more lies. We have reported the lies as fraud to the bank to claim the money back. The lies to try to get people to stay there we are are O A P and don't want anyone else to be treated the same

The worst hotel I've ever been to someone on drugs came in amongst all the guests we stayed there my partner had a fall in a wet bathroom and hurt his back banged his head we had to go to a@e where we stayed all night we then got charged an extra 100 pound for waking the visitors we had 2 hours in our room 🙃 not a nice or safe pluto stay

The hotel decor is very dated and it needs to be refurbished ( except the spa and restaurant)however the staff are hard working helpful and never try to sell you anything ( which is refreshing) Ella is the spa was very professional her treatments are great, the shabby decor rooms are warm and the sea view is fantastic, the food was excellent and the price we paid for dinner b & b with a spa treatment was an amazing bargain, hence I would highly recommend this hotel also there's lots of places such as the Jurassic coast & New forest to visit
