The Norfolk Hotel

Love this hotel, staff welcoming, rooms are lovely, relaxing garden,already booked to go again, there is nothing negative to say

Bounced out under false reason. Out Booking.com was cancelled 1 hour before checkin after a 4 hour journey as the hotel claimed that the boiler was broken and no hot water gor the room. They were unable to show me the room and I patiently explained we were used to not having hot water to no avail. The hotel most likely sold the room at a higher price and couldnt deny it. Highly disruptive and immoral for us with 2 small children and infirm lady. Booking.com offered 4 alternatives 3 of which were fully booked and the 4 was very very inferior and twice as expensive as the prebooked Norfolk Royale weeks before. Absolute scam and ruined our one holiday of the year involving much extra expense.

The hotel was fantastic and our room was huge. Met some lovely people along the way. Sadly the food was not so good. Very poor. The staff worked really hard and were always very polite even when under duress. Bournemouth itself has become very run down sadly
