FJB SANDBANKS HOTEL

We had a wonderful time staying here for my recent birthday. The reception team were really welcoming, especially Vivienne who went out of her way to make our visit feel special. All the staff were friendly. The location is excellent, you can walk straight onto the beach from the terrace. We had a room with a sea view had a really relaxing break listening to the waves.

Lovely Hotel, great views on either side of the hotel, our room was lovely with a sea view. Nice indoor pool, Staff exceptionally good, especially the Lovely gentleman on reception who booked us in, On his day off he sat with us having a chat, he was saying he plants all the flower beds around the outside seating areas. The sunflowers looked beautiful. The food at breakfast and dinner was really good. Pizza's fantastic. Will definitely be back.

Lovely hotel but only downside was my family seaview room. I had room 107 and my view was obstructed by the hotel restaurant and air conditioning units, so I had to look at the side to see the sea. I travelled with my partner and 2 young kids as my son has autism he wanted a too see the sea. I was told room 107 was one of there best rooms before I entered as was worried about it being on the first floor as there was outer buildings in front. My son was a little disappointed. Also over the weekend the pool was out of action due to maintenance and so my kids were unhappy. I was told you can use pool at the haven hotel but if you wanted to walk it is at least 25-30 mins away so really too far. I could use the car but parking was first come first serve so was worried that if I moved the car I wouldn't of been able to park again.. otherwise it was a decent hotel. Breakfast was good. I wanted to book again but have spoken online and was told couldn't guarantee a room so worried if I did promise my son a full seaview he may not get it.
