The Clifton Hotel

We had a lovely stay at the Clifton, very friendly staff, managed to check in early as room ready without any fuss or early check in fee, parking was free with parking permit that was supplied by the Hotel, very short walk to swan car park but would suggest parking in the train station car park to drop your bags off and collect Permit, £10 deposit on permit which was refunded after our stay, check in is via the Tavern pub next door. Rooms were clean and tidy offering very modern on suite which was also spotlessly clean.. tea and coffee as well as Sky tv and free WiFi.. Breakfast offered the usual cereals, yoghurts, and a range of hot food on the menu, we went for the Full English which was delicious, perfect spot with just a couple hundred yards to sea front and a short walk to Shops.. we both agreed that we would stay at the Clifton on our next visit..

Stayed 4 nights. Clean comfy room, tea/coffee items supplied. Staff very friendly and helpful. Included breakfast absolutely amazing choice, cooked to order by owner Paul served by his co-owner wife Linda, and their helper John, lovely man 🥰. Would most definitely recommend this place 101%. And it's across the road from train station, and around the corner from Clock Tower 😬

This hotel was a little gem! I stayed with a group of friends (six of us over three rooms). The staff were so friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was lovely and all six of us were seated together. We had decent en suite rooms, although a bit of a trek up a lot of stairs! We all slept well, no noise from the pub. So handy for the train station. Would definitely recommend. We’ve already booked again for next year!
