Hamilton House

A great location to explore Dumfries town and surrounding area. Derek and Rena are fantastic hosts and they make a great breakfast. We felt at home from the minute we walked in the door. Bed was super comfy, room lovely and spacious and everything was really clean. We had an en-suite bathroom with shower and room was cleaned daily. Great value for money and would definitely return.

Had a fantastic stay! Our hosts, Derek and Rena, were welcoming and friendly, and quite helpful, including information to help us get around. Our room was immaculate, with plenty of space, and the bathroom was clean, with a shower far better than the Marriott in Glasgow! Breakfast was great, and served promptly at the time we requested. If l ever have cause to get back to Dumfries, I would happily stay there again!

Stayed for 2 nights in November to visit a local event. My room was fantastic, tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. The bed was enormous ,the linen was so comfortable, great duvet and pillows. Blackout blinds were great. I slept like a log. Breakfast was fab, I'd definitely recommend the poached eggs at breakfast. I can't wait to return.
