Surrone House - Guest house

Had a great nights stay, quiet, away from the road, close enough to walk into Gretna for supper. We have found a gem for an overnight stay on the way to/back from Yorkshire. We were met by the owner, very nice man, who explained everything and then left us to it, it was great to know he was only in the big house if we needed him. We even used the voucher for money off at the Outlet cafe, great cherry/almond croissants, bonus! £15 - great stop over, would highly recommend. (No wc/showers so you need to be self contained).

What a brilliant place to stop for a night in our motorhome, chemical waste, fresh water, hard standing pitch which was flat, very quiet location, it was great. Short walk to the designer outlet & in the oppersite direction a few shops & a chemist. Would I visit again, well that’s a massive YES

We have just left this fantastic Aire. The owners were absolutely lovey, chatty, welcoming and could not do enough for us. Dogs are very welcome. This Aire is a large garden area with laid out hard standing pitches which can accommodate all sizes of campers/motorhomes. There are no showers but there is water and both types of waste disposal. All for a fantastic £10 per night. There is a dog toilet area. There are 2 pubs for a drink and food within a 5 min walk and a chip shop down the road I cannot recommend this Aire enough, if we go back up to Scotland we will definitely include this as one of our stops Thank you
