Had a fantastic stay at Lakeview Guesthouse. The rooms were very clean, comfortable and well looked after, and the whole place had a lovely welcoming atmosphere. The location was great and really convenient for exploring the area. The hosts were friendly and helpful throughout our stay and made us feel very welcome. Excellent value for money and a great place to stay with family. Would definitely recommend and would happily stay again

We stayed one night at Lakeview Guesthouse as a stop before a ferry crossing from Cairnryan. The guesthouse was spotless, the beds were comfortable and the bed linen smelt lovely and fresh. Room amenities were great. There were even some Tunnocks tea cakes. The host was extremely friendly and left out some breakfast bits for our children as we were leaving early and so didn’t have breakfast. We had also accidentally left a dress in the room without realising and the host rang to tell us and arranged to have it brought to us at the ferry port as we were unable to leave. For which we were extremely grateful. Would definitely recommend Lakeview guesthouse.

Located on the main road near Loch Ryan opposite Agnew park. Decorated to a high standard. Everything is clean. My room had everything needed. tea, coffee and even a Tunnocks teacake. There was a little bit of noise from outside but no issues inside. The owners are lovely. The breakfast in the morning was one of the best I've had. There's plenty of free parking nearby. You could easily pay more for a worse stay. If you're looking for accommodation in Stranraer this is the place
