The Old Post Office

Lovely location in a beautiful village. Room was perfect for 2 adults and a child.Nearby for visiting Beamish ( 15 minutes in a car) Very comfortable bed and a lovely touch with homemade biscuits waiting for you. Our host Keith was very welcoming and helpful. He also made a delicious cooked breakfast too! Highly recommended! Lots of nice places to eat nearby in the evening.

Stayed here while cycling Coast to Coast with friends. Our host Keith could not do enough for us! An absolutely beautiful 'proper old style B&B'!, Very comfortable beds, toilet and shower rooms immaculate. Tea and coffee in abundance in the rooms. A lovely pleasant atmosphere, although its situated on the main road it was very quiet, very close to pubs restaurants, shops and takeaways. Breakfast was something else!, all local produce cooked to perfection, even home made bread!!..Absolutely nothing was a problem. This B&B is very highly recommended

What a wonderful find this was, if staying anywhere near Lanchester, I would suggest you stay here. Keith was very welcoming from the start, there are 3 huge bedrooms, all of which are lovely and spacious. You get spoilt with home made biscuits, coffee maker with a choice of lovely coffee's to choose from, bathrobes, fresh cold milk delivered daily and the room was cleaned daily too. You had a nice choice for breakfast. We will only be coming this way if we can stay here again, it made our break for sure, thanks Keith, (Bev and David)
