Premier Inn Durham (Newton Aycliffe)

This is actually my first ever TripAdvisor review, but I felt compelled to write one after our stay at the Premier Inn Newton Aycliffe while celebrating our marriage with family. A very special mention has to go to Karen on reception. She was absolutely wonderful — friendly, caring and so welcoming. I was feeling quite nervous with everything going on, and she took the time to chat with me and help settle my nerves. She was also really helpful in suggesting that we pop next door for a drink before heading to the Hammer and Pincers, which was a lovely recommendation and helped us relax and enjoy the evening. She even gave us some Matchmakers, which was a really thoughtful little gesture. The hotel was comfortable and clean, but it was the kindness and personal touch from Karen that really made our stay extra special. Thank you for making us feel so welcome and helping make our celebration with family even more memorable. ❤️

I requested for room 17 as my 6 year old son is autisic and its his fav number. They have went above and beyond and decorated the room with room 17 stickers, sweets, colouring in sheets with the number 17 and made our stay perfect. Both of my kids was over the moon and we will be ruturning. Thank you so much. A big thank you to all the staff, sue and the staff who decorated the room.

The hotel is very modern & very reasonably priced. Super clean. Sue was helpful and a friendly face at reception Loads of parking as well
