Best Western Falcondale Mansion

We recently visited the Falcondale Hotel to celebrate my mum's 60th birthday with afternoon tea, and it was a truly special experience. We were seated in the lovely conservatory, and the staff immediately won us over by bringing a bowl of fresh water for our dog before anything else! The afternoon tea itself was absolutely amazing, with an incredibly generous amount of delicious food. The service was impeccable from start to finish, and nothing was too much trouble for the welcoming team. The views of the beautiful gardens from our table were stunning, and taking a relaxing walk around the grounds afterward was the perfect way to finish the afternoon. It was a fantastic way to celebrate a milestone birthday. Highly recommended, and we will definitely be back!

Staying in Lampeter for the weekend a stay at the Falcondale is a must. The room I had was very generous size with a large double bed sitting room and en suite with a bath and shower The breakfast was excellent on both days the first day I had fruit with juice and pain au raisin plus eggs Benedict. On the second I had the full Welsh breakfast which was also excellent with juice,prunes and pain au raisin. The choice is very good as is the standard of good and the coffee is plentiful

Very friendly and helpful owner and staff. Relaxed atmosphere. Beautiful location, lovely grounds and excellent food. A perfect retreat for a peaceful break.
