Got a free upgrade from a sea glimpse to a penthouse suite, so immediately set things off on a good foot! The hotel is literally right on the beach so the views / sunsets / sunrises were amazing. Room was quiet and with air con. The spa and pool really makes this hotel I think - staff were wonderful and it was amazing to have it all downstairs. I didn't dine in the hotel so can't comment on the food but all in all I was very impressed and can't wait to come back!

Room was disappointing due to the stains and holes in bedding as show in photos. Spa was lovely staff were friendly and very clean. Restaurant staff were disorganised but food was delicious. Great location, I’d recommend spa but not the hotel.

The hotel is in a great location and the spa is really nice but be warned the price really means you should use the spa and check for air con. I booked a single room 5 months ago for one night. Cost £215.00 For this I got a very small cabin room - think child's room almost. I'm 5ft 5 and lying straight out, I just fitted the mattress. No wardrobe, only 3 small drawers in a table, think of a business table so the drawers are for paper/pens etc. Hairdryer in a bag on the chair. By the window a small ironing board and an iron, because there's no storage for anything. 2 sockets for plugs under the window - 1 for the bed lamp, the other had a 2 way plug that was powering the 2 fans that I had in my room. For this price - no air conditioning, no car parking and no breakfast. It was very warm and the 2 fans did not cope with the sweltering temperature in a 3rd floor corner room that could only have the sash window open a crack. Please bear with this review, this bit is important! My friend's room - same price - had air conditioning. When I complained they said 'not all rooms have it'. So the warning is - unlike me, check before you go. Do not allow them to give you room 322 and be aware that it is 'pot luck' if you get air con when you get a standard single room. In their defence, after I complained I was comped a free breakfast. However, it was so hot in the room and if you are going out (as I was to my daughter's hen party) it was horrid to get ready. BTW they leave free gin in a decanter and a small bottle of tonic. It was hot and i don't like gin so I was at a loss as to why this was considered a 'nice touch'. I'd rather have a small amount of storage.
