Brighton House

Just had 4 days at Brighton House while at a conference. Carl and team so friendly and helpful. Room clean and quiet. Location perfect, right by beach. Breakfast delicious, included. Lovely old building. Great price.

I seem to have had an entirely different experience to the last reviewers - they appear to have received everything we didn’t! We were only able to book a twin room which resembled nothing like the other photos, even though we only saw three other people at breakfast on each of the two days. The beds had no headboards, which made the room look more like a dormitory, there were no chairs to sit in, and there were no attractive textiles at all, just a relatively thin plain duvet. And the room faced a brick wall. Breakfast was Continental style, they had run out of oat milk, and the waitress was grouchy (though the guy who welcomed us and the other waiter were both very pleasant). The bathroom was very clean but the shower was one of the old-fashioned tiny cubicles where you pull the door in on yourself. The whole experience left me feeling unhappy.

Great place superb location i was greeted when I arrived by a nice man who explained everything i needed to know lovely single room small but everything i needed the breakfast staff were lovely continental breakfast plenty of everything from boiled eggs homade yogurt to smoked fish would definitely stay again and reccomend it no lift which they state clearly in their website
