Hilton Brighton Metropole (I)

I've stayed at the DoubleTree by Hilton Brighton Metropole many times for business, and it never disappoints. The location is perfect, right on the seafront and within easy walking distance of everything Brighton has to offer. This visit was made even more special by the wonderful team. They noticed from my booking that it had been my birthday the previous week and very kindly surprised me with a complimentary room upgrade. It was such a thoughtful gesture and made me feel genuinely valued as a returning guest. The upgraded room had stunning sea views, and waking up overlooking the coastline was a real treat. The buffet breakfast is always excellent, with a great selection of hot and cold options and something to suit everyone's tastes. What really sets this hotel apart, however, is the staff. Every member of the team is warm, friendly and welcoming, and nothing ever seems to be too much trouble. Their professionalism and genuine hospitality are the reason I continue to return whenever I'm in Brighton. A fantastic hotel in a superb location, with outstanding customer service. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it and I'm already looking forward to my next stay.

Let's start with the staff, they are all so friendly, we haven't met a bad egg yet and as a bonus there are so many of them, some hotels you have to go searching for help, not here and they are all so willing to help. Go for the breakfast option, they have everything you will need to get you going for the day, a big selection of fruit, freshly made American style pancakes which the kids loved to great quality bread for toasting. On the traditional breakfast the sausage was a really good quality and eggs how you like them, I think for the first time I had a poached egg that was perfect and they will be the mainstay for the rest of our break. We have had one of their lower priced family room like we do in other brands and this one, for size beats them all hands down, the bathroom is an excellent size and there is plenty of room to manoeuvre in the walk in shower, no need to climb over the side of a bath for us less than able folk. Parking, it's not cheap but it is secure, it is around the rear of the hotel and my firstt thoughts were that is was going to be a bit of a walk with the bags but no, there is a door straight from the car park to the hotel. I can't speak for other "Double tree Hilton's" but if you are coming to Brighton I would highly recommend and we have only been here 2 days but first impressions really matter and ours have been excellent.

This was my first stay at the hotel. My daughter, who has stayed here several times over the years made the booking. We stayed here during the Pride weekend in Brighton, which was a lot of fun. Obviously accommodation prices were higher than normal but it was expected. The room was very comfortable and well maintained. The staff at Reception were very friendly and helpful at check in, especially Trisha and Gianni. But all staff at Reception during our stay were all very polite. The breakfast buffet was delicious!! A great choice was available to suit every need. We managed to use the gym and spa facilities during our stay and it was wonderful. Definitely needed after attending the parade, street parties and festival! Again staff there were very friendly All in all an enjoyable experience and I look forward to my next visit to the hotel
