Marine View Hotel

We spent two days at the Hotel Marine View. We came with our baby. The room is very simple but functional and there is the essential. Everything was very clean and Richard, the host, is really very adorable and attentive. The breakfast made by Richard is a real English breakfast, a treat 🤗 The hotel is very well placed, we could do everything on foot. Be careful, the hotel has no parking, there are paid spaces right in front if there are any spaces left. Another big thank you to Richard for his welcome and kindness.

We booked this hotel very last minute after deciding early evening to take a spontaneous trip to Brighton. After a long four-hour drive ahead of us, we were a little anxious about arriving late. While searching on Booking.com, we came across Marine View after avoiding another property that required a £150 holding deposit with unclear refund terms. Once we booked, we sent a message to let the hotel know our expected arrival time. The owner kindly rang us to explain that reception normally closes at 9pm, but despite this, they were more than happy to wait for us so we could check in without any stress. When we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and given clear directions on where to park, as well as helpful recommendations for nearby shops, restaurants, and places to eat. The hotel itself is simple and basic, but clean, comfortable, and absolutely ideal for a short stay. The biggest highlight is the location right on the seafront and within easy walking distance of everything Brighton has to offer. For the price and convenience, it’s excellent value. Overall, Marine View is perfect if you’re looking for a no-fuss, well-located place to stay with genuinely friendly and accommodating owners. We would happily stay again for a short break.

Extremely friendly welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The room had everything we needed and was very clean. The full breakfast was well presented and tasty
