There are some truly grotty accommodation options along Eastbourne's splendid seafront and I have experienced more than one or two of them. So it was a pleasure and relief to find this small but clean and tidy guest house, situated to the east of the pier. Despite a problem with my booking (probably Booking.com's fault), the management were able to fit me in at a particularly busy time in the resort. This meant a room on the top floor with three flights of stairs which would not be ideal for everyone. The room was well-decorated, clean with a small, perfectly functional bathroom. The generous tea and coffee, with fresh milk, offering was a nice touch. Breakfast was sound and it was pleasant to eat with a lovely, sunny, sea view. All in all, a more than decent discovery.
