I paid a little extra for a double room and it was a really nice room. A bed bigger than your standard double in one of the major chain hotels, a couple of chairs, tv, electric shower with a fair whack of power and lots of tea and coffee provided. The room was spacious, the noise throughout the night was minimal and the room kept the heat well meaning when I did feel a bit cold, a short blast of the electric heater in the room got the heat up and it remained a nice temp throughout the night. A perfect hotel for a weekend break in Eastbourne.

Really easy to find with parking available just outside around the square. You are given a parking permit straight away so you don’t have to worry about paying any charges. The hotel was not what we expected you ring a bell to be let in but once you have a key to your room you can come and go as you please with same key. The hotel is very quaint and boutique in style our room was really big and the beds were so comfy. You can get a full breakfast for £6.50! Location is brilliant literally just off seafront 10 mins stroll to pier if that. We ate at Little Italy round the corner it was lovely. Never been to Eastbourne it’s very traditional and safe. Will definitely hopefully return.

The hotel’s location was absolutely superb — right on the beach and close to all amenities. We also appreciated the complimentary parking permit, which made things very convenient. We stayed in an economy room and didn’t expect much, but there were some disappointments. The window had no day curtain, leaving the room exposed to the block opposite with no privacy, even for changing. The bathroom was missing basics like towel hooks, and cleaning standards could be improved. The biggest issue, however, was the room temperature. It was very hot, and while a fan was provided, it was so dusty and dirty that we didn’t feel comfortable using it. That said, forgetting these few things, we still enjoyed our time and spent a great weekend there. Thank you!
