East Beach Hotel

Had a lovely long weekend watching the Eastbourne airshow from our balcony room, room was really nice , lovely breakfast in the morning's with cereal, fruit juices and full English breakfast. Staff are really kind and very helpful, Sarah even offered to give us a lift to the station when she finished her shift, which was above and beyond, and we really appreciated her offer. Looking forward to coming back next year. Linda & Paul

Room: Great although we had some spiders in the room and outside. the shower is very small, can barely fit in but that might just be me. I was quite itchy in the morning, something had bit me. It mightve been from the night before at the beach, ill not blame the hotel for that. It was burning hot too with no ac, the Windows opened was barely enough as it was only warm air coming in. Location: STUNNING. I recommend taking the sightseeing bus with the 24 hour ticket. its also good that this place is right next to the ocean and the pier is just 10-15 minute walk. Breakfast: It has little choice of cereal, full english and toast. If youre staying with children, this might not be the best hotel for them. I think the breakfast needs some sort of fruit or something sweeter. General: The lift/elevator could use some work, its quite loud when you step into it, I thought it was going to break at some point. The balcony's floor is a little squishy in some parts. Dining room is a little small, also this hotel has no buffet-like style, you have to order your food, which is fine but I always feel needy asking. I also feel like its more work for staff. Kind regards. -Random staying in a hotel room

Booked to stay 10th-14th Aug woke up at 1pm bed bugs all over my son and I. 10 bites on me. Had to leave the next morning. Stay away from that place, it used to be good years ago. The place should be shut down with immediate effect and fumigation should be carried out.
