Black Rock House

The house is a ten minute walk from the beach, away from the noise and huddle. It is high enough to have a spectacular view of the sea and the ruins of the fort. It clean and welcoming and decorated with souvenirs and books that quickly prompt questions and conversation with the owners. The rooms are large with high ceilings and interesting, vintage and modern touches. The beds are very comfortable and the breakfast outstanding! Our host was friendly and helpful. A wonderful stay.

On arrival we were very kindly welcomed. Vincent helped us with everything, told about what sights there are and in the area. Gave us tips where we could eat well.. The breakfast was superb and the room nicely dressed, clean and fresh. For us it was enjoyment.

We absolutely loved our stay. The host was exceptional — warm, attentive, and genuinely thoughtful, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The room was beautifully comfortable, the bed was incredibly cosy, and the view was simply stunning. Breakfast was truly outstanding, without question the best we have ever had. Every detail felt carefully considered, and the whole experience was an absolute pleasure. We would return in a heartbeat.
