We stayed 2 nights. Perfectly adecuate to stay and spend your day in the lovely villages nearby. The aetting was very pretty. The room was spaceous but hot (despute having a fan) and not very aound proof (it was a dog next door that kept us awake one of the nights), it also didn't have plug sockets next to the bed and the water pressure of the shower was low. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was nice. For the price, you would probably expect a bit more but overal it was ok.

Wow chalk and cheese comes to mind, having stayed here before I contacted 13th to book a two night stay to visit family. Person I spoke to couldn't have been more helpful, happy to match rate for me , even offering to put twin beds together for stay. Forward to the next evening trying to add an extra nigh to stay no intention of looking at the rate suddenly talking over £400 for room only for three nights. I am glad I already had a booking because the young lady would have made me think twice. I was surprised as staff generally are really pleasant and helpful here, maybe we had both had a bad day. Sadly I will look elsewhere for an additional night shame as I intended to treat my family to a meal here, now I have reservations 😔

I stayed at the Flackley Ash as my first stop on a UK trip after a long-haul flight from Australia. The staff were so helpful and even booked me a pick up transit from Heathrow. The hotel has a lovey homely feel, and I felt relaxed as soon as I stepped through the door. My room was cosy, a good size, had a comfy bed, everything I needed and I loved the decor. Plenty of hot water, a good shower and a deep hot bath (just the ticket after that flight). The view out of my window was private, of gardens and countryside. The hotel has lovely facilities including an indoor pool and gym. Dinner and breakfast were lovely, and I felt totally comfortable here sitting at the bar for a pre-dinner drink and then in the restaurant as a solo female traveller. I'd highly recommend this place for a weekend away or stopover on any UK trip. It's also very close to Rye, a delightful old Tudor town with a range of beautiful shops for browsing, lovely pubs and restaurants. My stay here remains one of my highlights of my UK trip.
