Lovely views from windows. Newly updated bathroom. Fresh milk in bedroom. Hardworking and cheerful staff member managing breakfast room. But everything else was a disappointment: lacklustre attitude of front of house member of staff, very tired bedroom (didn't appear to have been updated since the 80's!), no parking available nearby, many breakfast ingredients were poor quality (sausages, coffee, what appeared to be tinned mushrooms). Would not choose to re-visit

Great value hotel in a good location. Comfortable but small room (we were upgraded to the loft area so don't know what the originally booked room was like) with a large bathroom. The breakfasts were excellent! A good choice of cereals, fruit, ham, cheeses, bread, yoghurt and cooked breakfast. The only negative was that it was a little chilly in the evening and the radiators were not working. We were told that there was a problem with the boiler. However, we were immediately provided with a fan heater. All in all, a great stay and would highly recommend a stay here 👍

Unfortunately, despite the high price, we had an extremely bad experience in this accommodation. The room (Haven) including. The bathroom was so small that one could hardly move. There wasn't even a closet. It was unbearably hot, with no air conditioning, and the one small window could not even be opened due to invading pigeons. Barely any water came from the shower, so washing hair was completely impossible. At 2:30 AM, all guests were awakened by a very loud and frightening fire alarm, which turned out to be a known false alarm. This repeated the next evening, without any apology or anything else as compensation for it. Tight parking was only allowed between 6:00 PM and 9:00 AM, and our vehicle was also damaged in the process. The breakfast was okay overall. The bar was completely overpriced.
