Priory Guest House

This place is often hired by the council to temporarily house anyone in need. These people are often vulnerable or homeless. Unfortunately many have undesirable habits. Under no circumstances take your children to this property.

Friendly welcome and paid straight away, sheets were changed x1 in over 1 week and towels twice , cups and bin changed daily coffee stuck in jar as was old , previous persons razor was still in bathroom, room smelt of damp , duck tape fixing bed and covering vent in shower, dirty pipes and poor finishing in room , inside fridge rusty, no breakfast inc and had to make own when you could get access to kitchen , dining room tables pushed to one fire, noisy neighbours in other room kept me awake had to text owner at 3am as not on site but no reply back until saw 2 days later. Full access 24hrs with key , noises whilst trying to sleep post night shift resulting in only 4 hours sleep. Rusty drain pipes near bed. Free WiFi and good size tv in room with remote taped up. Shared bathroom with spider for entire stay in bathroom. Would I stay again no and certainly not for family’s. If you want a nite on the town and a place to crash fair enough, no private parking on street only. £40 a night for my stay
