Kings Arms

This place is dire! Room 2, twin bed, tiny room, tiny bathroom, old and in need of a make over. The masserator in the bathroom is so very noisy, but to top it all, the noise from the road is unbearable. Cars- lorries all night long. The heat aswell in the room. 2 fans were in the room, but 1 worked with a remote control, and no batteries in the remote control, we pinched them from the tv remote, the fan was quiet but had a very bright led light that lit up and blinded me laying in bed. An air con system on the wall doesn't work. Only 1 cup in the room, no teaspoons, no water. The meals, at dinner and breakfast they had run out of or just didn't have items on the menu, no teaspoons given unless asked. Americano coffee served in a glass. And hard luck if you want a late drink asThe evening bar closed at 10. The complaints by guests were never ending. And it cost £144 a night for all if that! Day and night time robbery! We'd never stay here again.

A friendly welcome from lovely Poppy & Hayley Lovely Room 10-a good size, and a very comfortable bed. Good size bathroom with power shower. Bath towels could have of been bigger, or maybe I need to lose weight...Nice relaxed atmosphere in the dining room. Excellent 'spicy' prawn linguini and good Nika Tiki white wine. Excellent breakfast cooked to order.

We called in for a bite to eat, along with our White Boxer Dog, after a day a the coast. The Welcome for us all was lovely, the locals that came in were very friendly, the food was excellent and very reasonably priced. To top it off everything (Especially the loo's) was clean and fresh. We shall definitely return when next passing.
