Beautiful quaint village location. Amazing super friendly and welcoming staff. We had a snug attic room with a massive bathroom. Food at dinner and breakfast was exceptional. Excellent value for money. Just WOW

My 3rd stay here on business and I plan to make this my regular overnight stay. The rooms are quirky and super clean. Excellent bathrooms and the snug room for one person is excellent value and not too snug! I have had superb service for each visit, staff at reception, in the pub and in the restaurant are all helpful, friendly and professional. The pub food is also 'better than standard pub food' and really delicious, served promptly. Thank you for looking after me and making my nights away from home alone a little special :-)

My wife and I stayed two nights recently on a visit to Basildon. Our bedroom, located in the annexe, was quite large, comfortable and suitably furnished. The large bathroom had both a bath and excellent walk-in shower. We ate breakfast and an evening meal in the Inn. Menus were extensive, the food was good and the service was excellent. Altogether, a most enjoyable stay that we look forward to repeating on our next visit to the area.
