The Green Man Hotel by Good Night Inns

I stayed at the Green Man Hotel from 28th August to 12th October 2026. The reception staff are brilliant!! with a special mention of Lorraine who goes above and beyond all expectations to ensure that my stay was exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble and Lorraine ensured my room was booked and I was kept informed at all times. Comfortable Rooms and clean, well-appointed rooms in the rear annex with comfortable large beds and quiet surroundings. They are serviced daily and the cleaning staff are fantastic, nothing is too much trouble. My Overview:- • The Green Man Pub which forms part of the hotel is set in a Grade II listed 14th-century former coaching inn featuring authentic timber beams and a cosy pub environment. • Friendly Staff: Praises to all team members for providing welcoming, attentive hospitality. Special thanks to Lorraine on the reception. • Comfortable Rooms: Clean, well-appointed annex rooms with massive, comfortable beds, free Wi-Fi, and flat-screen TVs. • Convenient Parking & Location: Large on-site car park at the rear.

Third and last stay sadly. The staff are lovely!! However if I get to another hotel with a skip in an access bay I’ll go crazy. Apparently it’s been there ages!! It’s 2026 for heaven’s sake!!!!

To make ALL aware so it don’t happen to ANYONE else…This totally ruined my stay & wedding invitation as Unfortunately due to the lack of ANY signage or NO ‘mind the step’ writing on it, I fell off the hardly visible hotel step whilst exiting it for the 1st time on my way to the wedding venue at 1pm, staff were really kind in helping attend to my badly injured bleeding ,swollen knees. Hands, shoulder & cheekbone! Had to leave wedding early because in so much pain & go to hospital. Not impressed with not even a “how are you Amanda ?” e-mail from the company or hotel even through all my details were taken for their ‘accident book’. So please guys do be careful of the virtually invisible step on your way out as I’d hate it to happen to a young or elderly person as apparently it’s NOT the first time it’s happened so it won’t be the last. (Certainly the 1st for me!)
