The location was far from the station, but people drove to the hotel, and the atmosphere was impressive. However, the fact that the hall has no fan or air conditioning has reduced the rating. There was no storage for our items; amenities such as the toilets were kept clean and conducive. The hall was clean, and the noise level was maintained. It was indeed value for money and would do it again if attention is given to the atmosphere, especially the hall.

Can’t fault it. Good location for M25 and A13 in to The City. Plenty of free parking. Room was spacious, clean and well appointed. Ned was very comfortable. At just over £52 for the night it is very good value. I had dinner in the restaurant. The menu is limited and relatively basic but the fish and chips I had were delicious, good portion size, hot and quickly served. Also very good value. The receptionist, (who also appeared as the barmaid and waitress later on), Theresa, needs particular praise. She was professional, courteous, friendly and helpful. She is a real asset to both the hotel and to Best Western. Would happily stay here again.

My wife and I would like to say a huge thank you to all the staff at Thurrock Hotel for helping to make our wedding day the best day ever. Every member of staff was extremely polite, friendly and helpful, and worked tirelessly to make sure everything went perfectly for us. The service, venue and food — including the BBQ and evening buffet — were absolutely amazing, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for anything more. We are so grateful to every single person who played a part in making our special day so memorable. We truly appreciate all the hard work, care and effort that went into making it such a wonderful occasion. A very special thank you to Trisha, who went above and beyond with all the help and support she gave us in the lead-up to the wedding and on the big day itself. Your guidance, kindness and reassurance meant so much to us and helped make what was the best day of our lives truly unforgettable. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you all so much. We will always look back on our wedding day with the happiest of memories, and we are so glad we chose Thurrock Hotel to be part of it. ❤️
