Inver Lodge Hotel

First, I’ll put a few things straight. No, the exterior isn’t inviting. Pebble dash isn’t attractive, but in Scotland it is the only viable protection against the harsh weather. No, there are no flowers or shrubs outside because the deer eat them. Reviewers who have made negative remarks perhaps don’t know the environment well. I would stay here again because the staff are outstanding- all of them. Thankyou, Donald, Shaff, and Darcey. I hope others have the pleasure of your care and service. The decor is a little dated, but spotlessly clean, comfortable, and nothing is too much trouble. Views at breakfast are amazing. Do ignore the negative reviews and give this hotel a try.

We stayed at Inver Lodge on a tour of the NC500! This hotel is set on a hill, with the most amazing views of Lochinvar harbour, every room is a seaview and what a view it is, stunning! But that’s not the best part the staff are amazing! From reception Janet was so friendly and gave us lots of info on the hotel & area! Donald & Dougray were also extremely attentive at the bar, couldn’t do enough for you and the banter was brilliant! Highly recommend this hotel, food was also excellent, great choice of menu, fresh longoustines from the harbour, amazing! Will definitely be back!

Lovely hotel, Darcy, Donald and Phil the grounds man we're lovely to meet. Didn't try the food tho went out for dinner, Bar is limited, Breakfast was ok. Room and views were lovely. Very clean. It is a little dated and very over priced we paid £376 for one night, and I'd say that £200 too much.
