Holiday Inn Glasgow City - West

Convenient city centre location. Staff were polite—a special shout out to the staff member who was extremely anxious to get my request for fresh soya milk right even though that wasn’t part of the standard service. I really enjoyed the laid-on breakfasts, which had a really international atmosphere because of the large number of tourists. Rooms were very clean, although they did have some of the standard issues with such rooms, i.e. water drains too slowly in the sink. Not too noisy despite being right next to a road.

The staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and we loved the bathroom door being flexible to closing the entire bathroom or just the toilet. Breakfast was amazing as was the breakfast staff. They even have a gluten free section with several choices.

We stayed at this hotel for fourteen nights in connection with a family visit & day trips based in Glasgow. The location is very central, with a car park a short walk away. The room was comfortable & modern, with an exceptionally good shower (i.e. good, steady flow of water AND it didn't splash out & wet the bathroom floor!). The breakfasts were fine, although, after two weeks of the same buffet, we would have welcomed some variety, such as some cheese & maybe cold meats. The hotel staff are competent, friendly and helpful. We would certainly choose this hotel again.
