Berkeley Suites

We booked and prepaid for Berkeley Suites_Studio 1 in Clifton for three guests (myself, my 13 year old daughter and my husband, who was due to arrive on day 4) from 2 to 9 August. Despite Host360 assuring us by phone and email that a previously reported bedroom leak had been fixed, at around 5 a.m. on 4 August rainwater poured through the ceiling onto the sofa bed, soaking the mattress, sheets and cushions. Despite repeated requests for a safe, alternative accommodation, they could only send me a link to a hotel they do not manage, with no proper solution for our family of three. The excuse was that they had no vacant accommodation because of the balloon fest. A partial refund for 5 out of 7 nights arrived only after four days, leaving us to spend over £200 more than budgeted. For a family holiday, this was stressful, unsafe and far below what we were promised.

Lovely unique venue with great character. Clean and well maintained. Professional, friendly and helpful team of staff. Location very central to amenities. Super breakfast. Would definitely stay again.
