We had an absolutely horrendous experience during our stay. We were initially offered a complimentary stay, which we accepted in good faith, believing that the issues from our previous visit would be rectified and that we would have a much more pleasant experience. Unfortunately, the second stay was even more disappointing. The condition of the hotel rooms was shocking. They were extremely dusty and appeared to have been poorly maintained. There were cobwebs hanging from the ceilings, some of which were around 60cm long. I will be posting photographs to show the condition of the rooms for myself. What made the experience even more disappointing was the response from the General Manager. His handling of the situation and his email response to us were, in my opinion, completely unacceptable and lacked the professionalism and empathy you would expect from someone in his position. I do, however, want to acknowledge the reception staff, who were lovely, apologetic and genuinely tried to assist us. Unfortunately, their kindness could not compensate for the overall experience. We have been staying at this hotel for over 13 years, which makes this experience particularly upsetting. The hotel has clearly deteriorated significantly and no longer has the respectable, welcoming atmosphere it once had. It feels as though the property has been completely allowed to deteriorate. We will never stay at this hotel again. After more than 13 years of loyalty, it is extremely disappointing to have reached this point. I would strongly advise anyone considering staying here to look carefully at the current condition of the hotel and the level of management before booking.

We stayed here for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. Staff were really welcoming and helpful. Room was very clean and comfortable. The restaurant offered a good selection of food and included two courses for just over £20, making it very reasonably priced. Drink prices were a little above average but again there was an excellent selection. Breakfast was buffet style and had THE best variety of anywhere we have ever stayed. Would definitely visit again. Thank you to everyone for a great stay!

Great place to unwind with family, great health club, spa, pool. Amazing food and choice of two restaurants. Staff friendly. Easy access and parking nice getaway break place. We been coming regularly for years and will carry on thank you.
