Mercure Queens Cheltenham

Dear Lucy and John, I just wanted to say a huge thank you to you both for turning what could have been a complete disaster into such a lovely and memorable stay at The Queens Hotel. Somehow, we managed to turn up on the wrong dates for our reservation, not one of our finest moments! But from the moment we arrived, you both immediately put our minds at rest and handled the whole situation with such professionalism, kindness and good humour. You really did go above and beyond, and we honestly can’t thank you enough. Our bedroom was amazing , absolutely spotless, comfortable and beautifully presented. I’ve stayed at the hotel many times over the years, and this experience has only made me look forward to coming back even more. A massive well done to you both, and to the whole team. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming, and it’s clear how much care goes into making guests feel looked after. You all deserve a huge pat on the back. Thank you again for rescuing us from our own booking blunder and making our two-day break such a lovely one. We’ll definitely be back Jeffrey and Melanie Ryan

EXCEPTIONAL , from amazing location , a breakfast cooked and serve to perfection and 5 star staff to match , on arrival we knew it would be stay to remember ( Jack ) is a total credit to this wonderous Cheltenham Gem ..............GLOURIOUS

We stayed here as a family of four on one of the hottest days of the year! The hotel was a welcome sanctuary with a cool reception area and pleasant bar to sit in while we waited for check in. The receptionist was very friendly and set us up for what was a truly memorable stay. We stayed in a junior suite which was just perfect. We loved the four poster bed and our girls (11 and12) were comfortable on the sofa bed. We enjoyed glorious views across the park with a cup of coffee and a chance to really relax. The breakfast was also very impressive with a choice of fresh fruit and pastries along with a full English breakfast that was served at the table. The hotel is located in a beautiful part of Cheltenham with bars and restaurants on the doorstep. The shops were ten minute walk away. Parking at the hotel was very handy and there were a few spaces when we arrived. Thank you for a fantastic stay, we loved it.
