The Cheltenham Chase

OK room but despite booking an accessible room ours was right at the end of a very long corridor and there were 3 steps to negotiate to get to it. Dinner was very average. Plus there was an exorbitant £25 for the dog even though nothing was provided for her. Will not return.

The spa closed at 6:15pm and opened at 8am on the next morning, which meant that if you’re trying to enjoy the lavender fields in a summer evening you can’t use it. And then the opening hours should be much earlier than that. The service at the restaurant was terrible, as an example we asked for the deserts menu 3 times and it never came. The room was immaculate and was very comfortable.

Visited for a two day trip 11th to 13th July Staying in room 38. Yesterday ( Monday )We had a water leak in our room and the toilet didnt work properly. I told the dark haired lady on reception on 2 separate times on Monday about this. As no quick response we cleaned up the water ourselves. When the young maintenance main arrived he told us it needed a new cartridge in the shower which he hadnt got and said that he had fixed the toilet but he hadnt and again we reported the toilet problem again today to the blond haired lady on reception No one had cleaned our room yesterday Monday. We complained eventually someone turned up at 1645 to do this. The evening meal in the restaurant was overall ok, but two courses took over 2 hours to serve. We saw other people complaining as the meals were overpriced ! Overall very disappointing and we will NOT return
