Overall a very pleasant two night stay. Remy checked us in & was very chatty, efficient & informative. He offered a ground floor room when he realised my wife struggled with the stairs (no lift), but we declined as had already ‘moved in’. Room was clean & modern, bathroom very bright & clean with ‘very’ hot water & an easy to use shower. Plenty of towels. We had booked B&B, breakfast was good with available food being replenished as soon as required. My only surprise was the 12.5% service charge on the additional evening meal we bought, with the option to also pay gratuities which would be distributed to the staff. I had to study the menu to find the service charge mentioned as it was not readily apparent. Bar was well stocked. All staff we had contact with were pleasant, happily dealing with all requested. There was a swimming pool & fitness club available but we did not use these facilities. Kinga dealt with our check-out, & was also very helpful. The hotel suited our requirements perfectly for our short stay.
