My wife and I came for dinner in one of your pods today (2nd august 2026) and what a lovely idea it turned out to be. The pod is such a novel idea, one that both my wife and I. Annoy recall seeing anywhere else. The facilities provided in them, are much more then we would have expected with the air con units x 3….this is fantastic attention to detail given how hot it has been this year. Also the decor of the pod was beautiful, can quite easily see, that although trying to come across minimalistic, a huge amount of thought and attention to detail has been considered. The food, top drawer! I can’t top that for praise, everything there was one point. However, and this is very important, the young lady, who was our server, Sarah. She is a stand out credit to you and your company as a whole. If I was working within the service industry, I would Absoloutly employ her, no hesitation. Nothing was too much trouble, had a unique ability to make us feel special and that we were all that mattered (no doubt she was doing this alongside other duties) very kind, pleasant, attentive and took the the time to find out it was not only our second wedding anniversary but also that my wife is pregnant, with this info, unbeknown to us, she had a surprise dessert prepared for us. Whatever you’re paying her isn’t enough. There was also a very kind, young man at the bar, Luke. Who again, was very attentive and even though there was a que, took time to apologise for waiting, double checked the occasion, anad again nothing was too much trouble. Another fantastic asset you and a credit to your hotel. I cannot speak highly enough of the level of customer service experienced tonight, absoloute class, too top drawer. We had our anniversary dinner this evening in one of the lakeside pods. The atmosphere was relaxing and the pod was beautifully decorated without being OTT. We had a wonderful server called Sarah who made it clear nothing was too much trouble. She was attentive and just genuinely so lovely and kind. The food was delicious and generous portions too. At the end of the meal Sarah brought out a lovely surprise plate for our anniversary- such a wonderful gesture. Luke behind the bar was also super friendly and attentive. Overall, I would 100% recommend this dining experience. It felt like a very special evening. Thank you once again to Sarah for making the evening such a smooth one :)

Before I start I’d like to point out I’m not the sort of person who has high standards at all, I love myself a Premier Inn but thought for my birthday my partner and I would treat ourselves and spend a bit more money, however; don’t feel the price reflected the stay at all. The room was very outdated, not like in the photographs on the website. Especially the bathroom. There was also black mould in the bathroom and the shower pressure and temperature was poor and the temperature would go from hot to luke warm frequently. The air con unit in the bedroom was filthy and clearly hasn’t been serviced regularly. There was also dust all over the bedside tables as I have photographed which I would say is quite a basic thing to clean between guests. There was dust all over the skirting and stains and marks on the walls. Throughout the communal areas of the hotel the carpet was severely worn and stained. The food was average, nothing to complain about but equally nothing to rave about either. At breakfast there was a buffet style which was fine however I had finished my breakfast by the time the beans and eggs were topped up again so missed out on that, but again not the end of the world. There isn’t lemonade or cola on tap so it’s poured out of a bottle meaning the lemonade was slightly flat. The staff were all extremely friendly and professional and service was brilliant, however; I would not say this was a 4* hotel and I’m someone who is easily pleased so for me to write a negative review it must have been bad.
